"Kind family run hostal. Good value."

Lots of choices for breakfast and open early. Kind family run hostal. The location was about 3 miles from the historic district but not far from the Camino and on the way to Villafranca.

"A basic clean hotel in a forgotten town."

It's the only hotel in this forgotten town and it does the work. Despite the questionable reviews the place was clean, the staff accommodating amd the location is pretty central in the town (though not as central on the Camino route..).

It looks a little old, but is kept ok. There is a power outlet and a night lamp only in one side of the bed, which is inconvenient. Mostly the atmosphere of the town was depressing, but that has nothing to do with the hotel.

"moderate value in good location outside Ponferrada to shorten next walk!"

the property is a little tired and probably needs updating. that said we had a good night/rest and it works for one night.

noise from bar below although this stopped at 10pm
