Very friendly welcome, room upgrade, close to venue, comfortable,clean and welcoming.

No complaints from me, it was exactly what I needed.

The staff and location

On arrival heating was on very slightly and couldn't turn radiator off. Heating should be off anyway as it's summer weather. Perhaps slight problem with heating system.

5 minute walk from Southampton Central Station. Very decent priced budget guesthouse

The bed wasn't the most comfortable

Clean and bed very comfortable.

Bit dated but you get what you pay.

Communication was excellent before I arrived and the room and bed were comfortable. Good value for what I paid. There was parking available in front of the property. Just a few minutes from St Mary's Stadium where I was working and a short walk to Mint Dosa where I had a fantastic masala dosa, of course!

Not the strongest shower I've ever had but fine.

This was a booking for my wife who was travelling alone for work. She felt very welcomed by the owner on arrival and felt very safe and comfortable during her stay. The room itself was very cosy and, while not especially modern compared to a large chain hotel, had all the comforts for a restful stay. The room had a TV, a kettle (mug and tea/milk included) and a small, private shower and toilet. The room was also very quiet at night.
