Convenient for where we wanted to be that night. Comfortable and good value, with parking.

This pub & restaurant does not offer breakfast, nor food on a Sunday night. Landlady suggested we try pub in next village 2 miles away, but that did not offer food either although there was a convenience store where we bought a very basic meal.

Breakfast was great. Dinner was exceptionally good , wine list had some gems. Staff were super, professional and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.

Could park the car right outside

Could only receive bbc1 on the tv and strictly come dancing was on so I went out to find a Chinese instead

Location was ideal for my needs. The room was comfortable.

The fridge in the room was too noisy for me to sleep so I had to turn it off overnight. There's a very bright green fire exit light near the door. Presumably this is some kind of statutory requirement, but never seen it in other rooms I have stayed in. Luckily I had an eye mask with me so it didn't keep me awake but probably would have as the room was not dark enough for me.

Very friendly and helpful host.
