We were doubled book with another couple in the same house and on the same dates, and the host was totally unhelpful and just claims that she was unaware of the fact that the house was also booked through lekkeslaap.com. We are still battling to get refunded by the host or by booking.com. We won't recommend Britskraal to anyone!!

The host

It was really spacious, well equipped. 2. Liked the free water bottles.

1. We could not find an air con pad, we did of heat and the mosquitos were buzzing like drones, I had to sleep with the light onto keep the mozzies out. I finally spotted the aircon control, at the back of a random wall. The lady who met us had failed to show us where to find the aircon control pad. We would have enjoyed our stay, so much more had we used the aircon. 2. The TV setup was not ideal, it had been "hijacked" by a previous Google account. The landlord needs to set up a TV Google account with the apps running. This was very frustrating to have to reset the TV and give my own passwords, just to get some viewing time. 3. Not all the windows have mosquito screens. This is not OK, in a place where bugs are plentiful. 4. Our dog was instantly attacked by all the black ants in the garden, he was not able to stand still to sniff things, without immediately being boarded by hundreds of huge, black ants. I know you can't control nature, but it was something which made the stop very frustrating for the dog as he wanted to sniff everything. 5. In the main bedroom, you need to place a small table just below the mirror, to hold the make up. It will be more comfortable. 6. Finally, my daughters liked the place on booking. Com because the photos show a lovely bath tub. They had imagined taking a relaxing bath. When we arrived, we were told " you can't use the tub due to water pressure, just use the showesr", this basically amounts to false advertising. 7. Finally, the guest book is full, we had no space to write an entry, the Landlord has obviously not looked at it lately, as the last page was used and you need a new book.

Peaceful farm location, friendly staff, clean facilities. Very relaxing.

Beautiful house and location

We only spend one night. So it is difficult to give more info. But the evening we spend, was restful enough. The fact that my husband could braai made him happy. The complimentary water and milk was an added bonus.
