Everything was perfect - the place, the facilities, the location - and the volunteers made this place even extra special with great activities (yoga, temazcal, Ricardo's delicious community dinners, and they also organize tai chi, african dance, fogata, and so much more). Warmly recommended!

Amazing place, great and friendly staff, good location.

This place is really special, and beautiful, the people who run the place and living there, the energy - like a small community. came in a day that was cacao ceremony and they all welcomed me to join and it was so much fun to sing around the fire. Also came with my leg injured and the really helped me and took care of me. The place is close to the centre but still far enough to be quiet and chill.

Great spot to chill. Kids loved it too, plenty of space to relax and play.

The roof had a good view and the bed was comfortable.

Lots of rules. 1) only 5 minutes for a shower ( I only stayed 2 minutes because there was no hot water). 2). They told me I would loose my reservation if I didn’t get there by 6:30. 3). Lots of don’t touch signs. It was an unwelcomed feeling. Also the lockers were not secure. And the place looked a lot more Tun down than the pictures. I don’t know how it got the rating it has. Under the facilities it lists yoga. Nope. When asked about it, they said they could call someone and schedule a private session for a fee.

We liked the location and its wonderful surroundings. The place got a nice vibe with a open kitchen and huge lawn overlooking the beautiful mountains. It is very chill, not a party hostel but there is possible to meet other travellers.

We would have given this place a much higher rating if it werent for the bed bugs. When we told the straff, it seemed like they didnt care that much. We appreciated that they offered us one new bed and new sheets and bug spray. Athough, it would have been nice if they showed a bit more empathy over the situation (it was quite bad bites) and if they could ask us if we needed anything else.

I stayed 3 nights(Thursday-Sunday) and no social events happened as mentioned in reviews below, no bonfire, jam or etc. No community feeling, volunteers just enjoying themselves. Bathroom can be cleaner As it’s remote location you expect quite, but on Friday till 10-11pm was music from surroundings. Worst - on Saturday next to hostel (50m) was celebrating wedding. So that nice yard of the hostel became parking for wedding guests and VERY loud music 50m from window till late night But maybe it’s just me unlucky with timing
