Bantry Bay Haven B&B

Very handy location! We had a great night in the local bar and a lovely meal in the local restaurant which are both only a 10 minute walk. Siobhan was very welcoming and gave us great recommendations for the local area.The room was very comfortable and we would highly recommend staying here!

This B&B was very comfortable and quiet. Myself and my cousin came and we found the room to be warm and very inviting. There was a microwave and fridge, I travelled with my little dog and she loives fish and rice. I was able to leave in fridge which was excellent!. There was orange juice and other treats in the fridge, which I thought was a touch that not many would have done. The bed was comfortable. I would definitely come again.

I have to say the towels. They were so hard and not comfortable.

Good location. Nice and quiet. Facilities are good and clean.

Breakfast was prepackaged. Muesli was excellent, however.

Beautiful en suite apartment decorated with taste and the comfort of visitors in mind. Great attention to detail with all the facilities you could imagine. Siobhan is a great host and recommended restaurants within walking distance and rang to check ahead for time of last orders. Breakfast was self service with lots of options. Location is perfect down a quiet cul de sac but yet near as a base to explore the Glengarriff/Bantry area or take a trip to Garnish island.

No TV in the room but I didn't miss this at all. I enjoyed the radio instead.

1. Our room was separate from the main house, offering plenty of privacy. 2. The owner was friendly and helpful. 3. Breakfast was generous and varied, providing a great start to the day—with options including bread, ham, cheese, jam, honey, cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, tea, coffee, and milk. 4. Complimentary Wi-Fi was available. 5. The room included a mini fridge for added convenience. 6. Toiletries were provided.

1. The room is a good size for travellers packing light, but those with larger suitcases may find space a bit limited. 2 No TV in the room.

The room is very comfortable, nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and all one needs to make breakfast. Terrific. It’s a lovely setting, a cute and practical lodging. A good value just off the Wild Atlantic Way.

It’s not that we did not like anythng. But we had a bit of a problem. We lost our internet connection for most of the afternoon — while we were hiking the Sheep’s Head Lighthouse loop — and for that reason did not receive instructions for how to arrive at the precise location until very late in the day. Siobhan sent very precise and easy to follow direction, but we did not receive them until after we had arrived. (We used the Booking.com “get directions” function, then Google Maps to find the B & B.) Our advice: Be sure to check for a message through Booking.com with the directions before you arrive in Ballylickey.

It was a great stay and absolutely recommend! The landlord is a lovely and nice lady. Everytime again and a perfect place to relax. It was so well organized and there is a microwave and a fridge.
