The Coachhouse @ Kingsfort House

Absolutely loved the style! A converted coach house which has been renovated and divided up into rooms, which were perfect. A fantastic renovation! Everything was clean and tidy and each room has its own en suite and little deck. Breakfast is delivered to your room in the time slot you choose on the breakfast tick sheet which you fill in the night before. We all loved our breakfast and there is a little table and chairs especially for the job. The coach house is set in a lovely little village and was so quiet and tranquil, would have needed another night or two! There is a lovely garden area with an old, friendly doggy who likes you to say hello and throw a toy a couple of times! We went to Moran's bar for coffee and dessert after a walk out of the village. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wanted to stay in the Sligo area.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The place was so lovely and comfortable, with everything we needed. Michael was so kind and helped us dry all our wet biking gear!! And gave us a lift to and from the local pub, such a lovely guy. And breakfast was so nice. An added bonus was the lovely dog juno, who greeted us with a ball to throw, so friendly. Would go back to this fantastic place in a minute, and highly recommended a visit x

The breakfast was amazing. It was brought to our room by Michael our accommodation host. He is a gentleman and could not have been more helpful. Juno the dog was a very lovely family pet who was just so lovable. I can highly recommend staying in The Coach House and will definitely return again.

No television which wasn’t really a deal breaker although I’m just in the habit of watching news every morning. There was also no shelf in the shower to put toiletries. The shower itself was amazing and loads of hot water and very powerful.

Endlich einmal eine Unterkunft mit wirklich guter Beleuchtung. Sehr bemühter Gastgeber, der das gewünschte Frühstück aufs Zimmer bringt. Schöner Garten in absoluter Ruhelage.

Hatten Schwierigkeiten, die Unterkunft zu finden, weil es keinen Hinweis gibt. Die Tafel zum Haus wurde Opfer des letzten Unwetters und ein neues Schild soll demnächst geliefert werden.

A wonderful B&B lovingly run by Michael – we felt completely at home! The room overlooks the beautiful garden and is so quiet at night that you can sleep with the door open and have the most peaceful rest. Michael brings a delicious breakfast to the room, and the fresh eggs from his own chickens are fantastic! Michael is the perfect host – we felt very welcome and at home. Thank you so much!

Clean, cozy, friendly….

Breakfasts were exceptional. Quality was superb. Michael - the host, manager, owner was amazing. Constantly attentive. Ensuring every need was met right down to greeting us on our return on a very hot afternoon with a carafe of ice cold water. Michaels a mine of information about all the tourist spots, locations to visit, restaurants etc! Awesome! The location suited us ideally for walks and visits to Sligo, Glencar & Benbulben plus Drumcliffe We highly recommend The Coach House & Morgan’s Pub opposite for an evening meal at weekends.

Reluctant though we are to say this - a grab rail in the bath would aid those of us born earlier to safely access the shower which was over the bath.

Beautiful accommodations and absolutely wonderful hosts! Juno was the highlight, she stole the show.

Not a thing! This was the perfect respite on our travels.
