The Coachhouse @ Kingsfort House

The Coachhouse was beautiful, set in lovely gardens and the rooms were immaculate, with original stone walls and real character. The rooms are in the old stables which have been beautifully restored. Breakfast was amazing and we took it outside in the courtyard. Michael was most helpful and accommodating as we were going to a wedding and needed to drop our stuff off early before check in time. I was just sorry I wasn’t staying longer!

La signalisation du Bed & Breakfast doit être améliorée, par exemple avec des panneaux. Restauration la plus proche se situe à 5km. Sinon l'endroit est vraiment chouette. Merci

Michael was an outstanding host. He waited for us until midnight, just to make sure we could access our room easily. Michael is very friendly, breakfast was very nice and healthy, all fresh. Michael was very easy to communicate. He kept constant communication with us before our arrival. I would love to visit Michael & his property again!

Gorgeous room and gardens, close to Sligo Town. Having breakfast brought to my room was exceptional.

The owner, Michael, me. it was very well prepared and presentedt me when I arrived. even though I was a little early to check in my room was ready. He helped carry my luggage to the room and explained things to me. He asked about my trip to Ireland and offered some advice on how to get to where I was going. There was a check list for breakfast which I filled out and gave to him. He offered advice on where to eat which was at th pub across the street. Breakfast was brought to my room the the next morning. It was very well prepared and presented. Michael was very friendly and helpful. Although the town itself is small and touristy I highly recommend The Gatehouse as a place to stay when visiting the area.
