La proximité avec la gondola : difficile d’être plus près du départ des pistes. Le onsen dans l’auberge. L’authenticité et l’âme du Japon dans l’accueil : le personnel discret était toujours disponible pour nous aider.

Location was amazing. Near the slopes and town. The rooms were cute and the private onsen was nice!

My son and I stayed for 10 days and loved it. We knew what to expect as I had read many reviews. And it did not disappoint. The lovely couple were so sweet and helpful with anything we needed. We had daily breakfast included which was amazing japanese style and so yummy. I would def suggest make sure you have the breakfast! Rooms were simple and comfortable. We dont mind sleeping on floor, and the mattresses were very comfortable. We used the in house onsen daily and was very clean and comfortable. We were used to the shared bathroom concept as we come to Japan often but if your new to it you will get used to it. The bathrooms were clean and not a problem waiting for them. It was located right below main gondola and ski rentals so easy to get to lifts. As its on the ski hill a walk downhill to restaurants is needed but not far and the village is so interesting and easy to navigate after a day or so.

It was a traditional ryokan type room and had all basic facilities but with a shared bathroom and had an onsen as well. The owner was very nice and friendly and gave us gifts as well on our last day

This was the perfect stay for our week in Nozawa Onsen. It is literally 3min walk to the gondola. The Japanese couple who runs the place are incredibly sweet and accomodating. If you like local food, you should definitely get the breakfast add on - they make it fresh daily, it's different each day, and filling. Bathrooms are shared, so long as you're okay with that. View from our room was beautiful onto the mountains. We had a traditional japanese bed room, and we were really comfortable, and slept well. Everything was very clean. And there's an onsen in the hotel itself, which we went to daily after skiing.

The location was very close to the ski lift and rental places, amazing for skiers & snowboarders, as well as it has its private onsen as well as a public nearby onsen too. The owners are also very sweet and always very helpful.
