Skyview Manor

The bedrooms were spacious. The location was great with just 20min drive into town. The view was beautiful. The staff were very friendly

We had forgotten to bring games. Having some boardgames around would have been nice

There was no key for the front door- we had to wake guests up at 2am to open the door for us as we were returning from a wedding.

Beautiful location, fantastic views. The house is beautiful, I would have loved to learn more of its history. The furnishings were outstanding and loved that I had an aircon in my room.

The entrance sign on the road is rather small and very easy to miss. This could be improved.

The location was absolutely exquisite, surrounded by greenery and a stunning view of the mountains. There was a pool (we didn’t get to use, unfortunately) and a wonderful balcony too. The room was small but comfortable and clean. The decor in the house was eclectic and there was an awesome kitchen.

The place was a bit of a ghost town, with no staff or people around. We were unsure the fist night whether more people would be arriving, whether or not to bolt the door, if any staff were near. It was a bit strange, with no instructions when we arrived and no one around when we left. The dogs also barked for a lot of the first night, keeping us up. The second night, we came back from a wedding at around 1am and other guests had bolted us out, also not knowing there was anyone else staying there. We had to bang on the door for quite some time until a guest came and opened up. Overall, it was a beautiful place but I think it could be managed a lot better.
