Sanim Hostel

FANTASTIC. I don't usually stay in dorms, so was very apprehensive. I booked a bed in the women's only dorm. It was super comfortable and clean., and the curtain gave privacy. The air on is on overnight and keeps the room beautifully cool. The women's bathroom was kept very clean. We had a balcony in our room, so cold hang out wet swimsuits to dry. It's a short walk to the night market. There is a good coffee shop downstairs in the hostel. The 7-11 is next door. It's only 100 metres to the busy part of Ao Nang, but slightly more peaceful at the Sanim. But most of all, the cheerful, super helpful staff are amazing.

The owner Ning was so lovely and accomodating. The location was great - out of town enough that it was quiet but still close to food, close to night markets, 7-11, coffee shop, and the beach. The facilities were fantastic, and the other girls in our room were chatty and we spent a lot of time together. Great for solo travellers or more than two people travelling together.

The beds weren’t that comfortable.

The woman who greeted us was so kind and lovely to us. We had both been unwell for a couple of days and this felt like an absolute safe haven for us both. The facilities were great and it was in a good location.

I stayed here for 3 nights and am happy I did. Great location, really close to everything. I was really worried about it being noisy but it’s a chill hostel and I enjoyed my stay.

The receptionist wasn’t overly helpful

I shared a room with a few girls. The beds were comfy, the location was fine, right next to the hostel is a 7/11👌🏽

The bathroom was always so smelly even if they were cleaning all the time..:/ The air condition is automatically at a certain grade and it cant be changed. It was pretty cold at night in the room:/
