Chaisuk Bungalow

Located outside the town. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere, with trees, plants, and many birds. Even though the room was old with old furniture, everything was very clean. I saw two ladies carefully inspecting every sheet and towel, treating the stains by hand, before washing them. Wow, this was impressive after 3 months of stained (but clean) sheets and towels all over SE Asia. The owner found me a tuk-tuk and I visited several impressive temples and pagodas nearby. It's a small town, so that was a big surprise.

It's hard to get a ride to town. Nobody speaks any English, not here not in town (except for the owner of the bungalows). Impossible to get some food or drinks, you have to cross a very busy highway.

everything that was supposed to be in the economy room was there, clean, hot water, air conditioning working. I am satisfied, especially for this price

Location between the city centre and the border.

Tuk tuk from the city centre to the border costs 100 THB. Same for the lift to the border. That is a bit overpriced.

I like this place. I was travelling by bicycle so the location was not a problem. The rooms are great.
