Sunrise House

Sunrise house is a completely magical experience. The house was hand built and the love and creativity of approach is very evident. House is beautifully decorated and extremely welcoming and comfortable. Hosts are exceptional - particularly admired their creativity, warmth and dedication to care for the environment and love of nature, art and heritage. Their success in rewilding areas of the glen is inspiring.

Nothing not to like was a lovely experience to stay here.

The place is lovely and feels like it is situated in a fairytale. On top of that Margie gave us the warmest welcome and the best tips to go around.

Peaceful Scottish location was great- felt remote but reasonably close to facilities- we liked the location, spacious bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, easy use kitchen area and verandah seating. Also the excellent breakfast and friendliness of hostess and host. Also convenient parking and well behaved dog.

Living room a bit cramped, but manageable.

Breakdast was exceptional. Well looked after by the hosts. First class service. Very friendly and chatty. Quiet location. Lovely views.

Very nice breakfast prepared by a friendly host. She was very helpful with providing information and was always open for a little chat. Nice and comfy bedrooms.

You have to be aware that the location is very remote - in the middle of the woods and quite difficult to find. Cleanliness on the ground floor can be improved. Passive aggressive little signs everywhere in the apartment about what to do and what not to do at what times of the day.

Nice personalized home stay, was very nice to chat with Marge.

Margie is a very warm and courteous host. Her apartment was very nice, clean and cosy and she cooked a Tay breakfast for is. The location is remote and peaceful and we had a great dinner at Whitebridge Hotel (highly recommended). We enjoyed it. ;)

The house and interior is slightly antiquated but that's a matter of taste. Also, the many notes with rules (e.g. on how to flush the toilet) are a bit unusual.
