Coral Front Beach

Die Lage leicht erhöht, direkt an diesem außergewöhnlich schönen Strand, gleich neben der Taverne, die zu den Zimmern gehört war phantastisch!!! Schönes modernes Bad mit gut funktionierender Dusche. Das Zimmer selbst ist schon ein wenig klein und sehr einfach, aber geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Trotz schlechten Wetters konnten wir gut die schön angelegte, überdachte Terrasse nutzen und das stürmische Meer bewundern. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist hervorragend. Und das inkludierte Frühstück in der Taberna war ausgezeichnet. Da könnte man gut auch länger bleiben.

Es gibt wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten in dem Zimmer

De combinatie van alles, beviel het meest. Eenvoudige kamer, aan de ruisende zee, naast het rustige restaurant, fijne mensen, authentiek, prachtige kloof.

La posizione è davvero unica, le camere a qualche metro dalla spiaggia, si può fare colazione nel ristorante e volendo cenare, prendere un caffè a qualsiasi ora. Ospitalità semplice e autentica. A poca distanza si imbocca il sentiero per la caverna Pelekta e a qualche metro si visita il palazzo Minoico di Zakros. Un luogo davvero bellissimo

This is such a fablous location, right beside the sea. The host was very friendly, full of useful information, very generous and exempliarly of the famous Cretian hospatility! Lovely barbacued fish by the beach, the sound of the waves to rock you to sleep. What more can anybody ask for!

Its not 5 star, but its location & unrivaled hospitality make it very special place to visit.

The location was amazing and the room had a lovely terrace with a sea view. Lovely breakfast and Nikos and the staff were amazing.

The place is right on the seashore. There is a terrace with tables and chairs with a view of the sea. The location is absolutely lovely, good value for money that is what you need with a restaurant just below to close to the gorge archaeological museum and coastline walks.

The location is absolute perfection, right on the sea. The rooms are very small, but have all that you need for a few nights, including a refrigerator. The staff are kind, professional, and welcoming. It is great to have the taverna on your doorstep, but just far enough away that you don't hear any noise, just the lap of the waves and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace was simple but included excellent bread, fresh orange juice, and coffee or tea. I was very happy to be back (my 2nd stay), but my friend is used to more upscale properties and was disappointed by the quality of the bedding and the fact there is no separate shower (It's a wet room, like you have on a boat). I had to remind her that it's good value for the money. This is a joint review for our 2 rooms. I'd give it a 10, but she insisted on an 8. I'll be back!

A nice double room just at the beach (and 5 minutes walking from the archeological site). No trouble to find a park for the car. The staff was very helpful and nice. A plus for the Internet connection.

Lovely location on the beachfront; extremely quiet; very obliging staff; free breakfast given in ajoining restaurant.

Everything was grubby; bedroom was extremely small, without enough space to unpack a suitcase; the photos do not paint an accurate picture; we chose this location as the property was described as having a terrace, however it does not face the bay and is shared with other guests; bed linen was unfortable and itchy, it felt as if there were bugs or insects in the room; the sheet had blood on it from a previous guest; the lighting was operated with a key card which did not fit properly in the holder and required a lot of fiddling about to get it to work; the room smelt of a previous guest (male deodorant) and had not been properly aired; the bathroom bin had not been emptied and had soiled paper in it. It was a pedal operated bin but would not open; the toiletries and toilet paper had not been replaced from the previous guest's stay.

Wir mochten den schönen Ausblick aufs Meer von der Zimmerterrasse aus. Die schöne Bucht war im März sehr ruhig. Das haben wir genossen. Man kann durch die Schlucht bis nach Zakros wandern. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich. Kato Zakros bleibt uns in guter Erinnerung.
