The host is a piece of heart! She is such a nice, friendly person. We really appreciate her a lot. She has been very helpful with booking the trips. When we just arrived, she showed us all the places of interest on a map and answered any question we had. The daily Japanese breakfast was excellent and tasty. We would come back again in the future. It's a wonderful place where to stay and it has a terrace where you can see the sunset. The place is also very close to the wonderful beach Boraga, which is really worth visiting. Message to Izumi: We are waiting for you in Spain! Please write us an email soon to keep in touch!

I have a hard time finding something wrong here ahahahah. Sorry! There was absolutely nothing I can complain about. Maybe I could only complain about other guests who stay in the bathroom for more than half an hour completely ignoring that there are other guests too in the house that would like to shower? Even though we showered outside after being in the beach, we couldn't take off the swimsuit there and often there was still sand inside the swimsuit. It's very uncomfortable being like this for long and it is also not nice towards the host if the sand lands on the floor because you have to wait for a person to exit the shower. I wonder what people do 40 minutes in the shower... I think 20 minutes is a lot already and should be enough time for everyone. If you need to do make-up, comb your hair etc. you can do it in your own room. No need to be locked in the shower forever! Be respectful towards other guests!

Very nice place on the country side. Fantastic unspoiled beach close to the guesthouse Cozy atmosphere, nice to speak with other travellers. Owner of the guesthouse very helpfull

移住した御夫婦のてづくりの宿です。とても親切にしていただいて、相談したことにいつも丁寧に応えていただいて、安心して過ごすことができました。ホテルのような清潔さはないですが、いつもお掃除、お洗濯されていて、こざっぱりと整えられています。古いお家なので、床が、歩くとミシミシするので、他の方のことを考えて気を使いましたが、まあ、大丈夫でした。十分な干場があって、乾燥機（有料）をつかわなくてもだいたい乾きました。朝ご飯も豪華ではないですが、必要十分＋アルファな内容で、とても美味しかったです！　２階のテラスからきれいな夕焼け、星空が見えます。私はいろいろ買ってきて、サンセットディナーを楽しみました！　（暑い＆虫いますけど^^;　許容範囲です！）次に宮古島に行くときもぜひここに泊まりたいです！　ありがとうございました！

Izumi was a great host and the breakfast she made was delicious! It was close to Bora beach, which was great. And with the bike I could rent for free (electric, at some point, even!) it was wonderful to visit the amazingly beautiful green areas around, all the way to Cape Higashi-Hennazaki, as well the other beaches, like Yoshino Kaigan Beach. I was traveling around the island with the local bus (no 1), which runs like 5-6 times a day, so, not very often, which is why it was nice I could use the room, shower, snorkeling kit and bike after the time of check out, for an extra fee, until later in the afternoon, when the bus was scheduled.

A great host who was very friendly and helpful. A nice location in a nice quiet spot.

The host is super friendly and open. You can sit on the balcony and enjoy the sunset. Very calm, rural atmosphere away from the resort hotels and beach selfie instagrammers. But a small and very beautiful beach is within walking distance, and another where you can snorkel and see sea turtles is a few kilometers away.

I'm really happy, I could enjoy the authentic side of Miyakojima and its people. Izumi-San is a very friendly and kind guest and helped me with whatever I needed. Everything was perfect! どうもありがとう!

I have no complain at all

A neat, clean and enthusiastic host. You can ride a bike to the lighthouse and the coast. It's also friendly for people who don't have a car. Japanese houses are not soundproof, so it may not be suitable for you to live here if you are sensitive to sound. It makes me feel at home. I will come back next time.❤️
