This is a nice pensiune on the main street in Calimanesti. The tripke room we had faced the street and was a bit noisy, but we saw that the other rooms had windows facing a side alley and are presumably quiet. Everything was very clean. It's centrally located, 5-10 minutes on footbaway from grocery stores and restaurants. There is a large shared kitchen with coffee and tea on the house, and an outdoors area with seating and grilling facilities (and a lovely lavender border). The owner was super nice and even picked us up from the railway station.

The road was noisy even at night. Some dish soap in the kitchen would have been great.

Extremely well equipped kitchen and room. Everything is new and clean. There is a hairdryer. The coffee machine makes great coffee. There is street parking, but we had no problems finding a spot.

The bedroom and bathroom were clean and air-conditioned. The kitchen was spacious, and the coffee machine in good working order. We had a nice eating room or the deck outside to choose from, for eating and relaxing. Most important to me was the hostess's generosity in giving me some ointment--difficult to find in Romania--for my arthritic knee. The Romanians' proverbial generosity in action.
