Kings Lodge Hotel

The owners and staff were great ,breakfast was superb always piping hot and plenty of it. All the little extras mainly sweets, biscuits,ice creams,water for drinking,fridge, microwave,extra tea coffee sugar milk etc.

Bathroom was on the small side as I'm 16 stone, shower quite tight bedroom and bathroom needs updating but the price you cannot complain. Ample parking at front on a first come basis parking possible opposite.

Great location, fantastic staff, good value for money.

Had a single room, bathroom and shower was tiny.

Andrea, Cathleen (mum) and Heather were exceptional hosts and made us welcome from the minute we arrived. The hotel was warm, spotless and we had a great view of the gardens from our window. The lounge contained a fridge and microwave cooker both of which came in very handy and made our stay even more enjoyable. One very special feature which perfectly reflects Andrea's generosity and desire to provide a friendly, top-class experience was the never-ending supply of free sweets, chocolate bars, crisps and drinks in the reception area. Breakfast was first rate with a good choice available. The hotel is situated yards from the prom in a quiet area at the north end of Yarmouth yet close to plenty of attractions for all tastes and ages. For travellers by car there is plenty of free parking available at the front of King's Lodge with the bus station only 10 minutes away on foot and the train station around 20 minutes if travelling by rail (taxis are available). A large chain store is located nearby for food shopping and anything you may have forgotten to pack. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning. The room rate must be the best value in Great Yarmouth.

Nothing not to like. The shower cubicle in our room was a bit of a squeeze but it in no way detracted from our enjoyment.
