Guesthouse Sava

I booked a small room but the owner was so kind given me a bigger without extra charge. The bed was comfy and room & bathroom neat & clean. The location just across the road is Sava river looking afar is the bridge to Bosanki Brod in Bosnia Herzegovina. Behind & beside the guesthouse have lots of Cafe & boutique & a supermarket. There are few ice cream stores but I especially like the one facing the main road with nice outdoor sitting.

On Sunday where most shops nearby are closed even the kiosks but the one & only kiosk always open is at the main square which is very close to the guesthouse

Nothing, except the location on the Sava river.

We were given a different room than the one we booked. It was dirty, old, and reaked of cigarettes, although we booked a non-smoking room. The staff was not friendly at all. The bathroom is tiny. The bed sheets were not fresh/changed. All in all, it's very uncomfortable and extremely dirty. Not worth the money, even if you just want to sleep there one night. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

Location is superb, there is free parking, the bed was comfy (I slept like a baby). It's not fancy but there's everything you need for a short stay, for a VERY affordable price. Really good value.

Tobacco stink from the previous guest. The room was too cold (could have been warmer if the heating was turned on before we checked in).
