White Rose Guesthouse

Perfect location in the middle of everything (beach,restaurants and shops) but still managed to get good night sleeps even though being a light sleeper. We meant to stay here 3 nights but as the room was comfortable we decided to stay a bit longer on this beautiful island. We had some issues on the first night but got resolved quickly - the staff/ management is nice and easy to deal with. Great option if you are on the budget. Clean, comfortable room and hot shower.

Only downside was that the bathroom had no sink which is odd but managable.

Clean nice bungalow, no insects were getting inside, we didn’t even have to use a net.

Good place, good discount, rooms are ok good value. Good staff.

Nice to finally find a good old no frills budget room where you don't have to pay for more than you need. It's a budget place though and pretty basic, but excellent for the price. The common bathroom was kept clean throughout the day. The restaurant has excellent food at good prices. You might find things on the menu which you have been crawling if you have travelled for a long time. Cheapest beer on the island as well. You get a discount on food and drinks when you are staying there. The guest house is right in the most happening part of town. Good WiFi.

Frequent electricity cuts and the fans need cleaning.

The bathroom is outdated; I realize it’s typical bathroom in Cambodia to combine shower with toilet - but a separate shower area, as well as more sink countertop space to put my cosmetics, would have really help to make it more convenient. Also the common front ‘yard’ that is a big empty space as you go downhill leaving the bungalows, is pretty trashy to walk down hill - while I realize this might not be White Rose’s front yard, if the neighborhood could do something to clean up the trash in that open area, it would make the experience much better walking to/from the bungalow.

The staff were exceptional, location was perfect and the bungalow was spacious and clean. Very comfortable stay and great value for money
