The owner and host Christel is helpful and attentive. Room was spacious and well put together. It had everything you needed. Would recommend to anyone for a stay in Louis Trichardt. The bed was exceptionally soft but despite thinking it might give me back ache it was comfortable... would have loved a feather pillow.

Loadshedding is a problem in SA. It would be nice if they had a generator or alternate power source that could run during power breaks that could carry a full load... ie aircon etc. But they were accommodating and switched on the generator during an unscheduled power break. The wifi goes off when there is no power. Would be great if at least that stayed on.

"A haven in a time of need."

My wife had drunk water at Punda Maria and had food poisoning. Our reception when we arrived early for check in was friendly and helpful. Everything was done quietly and professionally and the service was beyond reproach. Breakfast was excellent and I really can’t fault this place for a stop.
