Beautifully presented, quiet location and spacious.

Dene House farm was exceptionally clean, well appointed and very friendly. Our hostess very kindly even ran us to the pub for dinner and collected us afterwards. We chose Dean House due to its proximity for a visit to Cragside.

Set in a lovely quiet location surrounded by fields. Our room was massive with the option of being able to open the doors to appreciate the splendid view. Our room was spotless and our hosts left out all sorts of goodies; crisps, Borders biscuits (several packets), tea, herbal teas, coffee, sugar, milk was left in the silent fridge and plenty of fresh drinking water. Spoilt for choice. Honestly I cannot fault the place. We were very impressed and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful getaway. Our Hosts were extremely accommodating and helpful. Nearby The Granby Inn served delicious food with exceptional staff.

There is nothing we didn’t like; but if we could leave a suggestion. Upon arrival in the car park you will see the house name for accommodation in Irish this is the entrance way. Don’t go in the other door unless you want to do Pilates or visit the gym.
