"Staff very nice and helpful. View lovely but no like to cats. 🙁"

The view and everything was fine.

The passage smelled like cat urine. One of the guests let the cats in and we had to chase it outside. We left the window open for fresh air and one of the cats slept on the bed. One of us were allergic to cats.

Herrliche Aussicht und schöne Ausstattung. Da nachts im abgelegenen Guesthouse kein Personal mehr ist, gab es einen panic button neben dem Bett.

Leider hat uns die Aussicht aus unserem Zimmer nicht gefallen. Blick über einen Zwischengang auf die gegenüberliegende Hauswand war nicht ansprechend. Auf so etwas sollte hingewiesen werden im Angebot

"Idyllic location looking down over the Franschhoek valley."

The location and view of the valley from Lynx Cottage on the estate was stunning. The terrace, fire pit and braai were the perfect place to enjoy the sunset over Franschhoek in total peace and quiet.

The cottage had a dated heritage feel that some might find old fashioned. It lacked a few modern touches such as a room safe.

I loved the views, the peace, the beautiful furniture and the comfortable bed. Check in was easy and the staff was welcoming.

The road has potholes which was bumpy.
