BATUKARAS IS A DANGEROUS PLACE FOR WOMEN TRAVELING ALONE I HAD BEEN NARCOTIZED . JAVA IS NOT SAVE FOR TOURISTS. TAXI DRIVER CAN KIDNAPPED YOU. DONT GO TO JAVA THEY DONT RESPECT MOHAMED AND THEY ARE AGAINST ISLAM . AS SAALAM ALEIKUM

Lovely place. We booked 1 night but stayed for another 3. If you look for a secluded place to rest while you stay in Java - that's the one. Super nice host - helpful and easy-going, amazing breakfasts, drinking water available in your room.

Cozy bungalow with an amazing views to rice fields. The family is very attentive and helps you both in the organization of activities and transport and everything that can make your life easier. The breakfast is delicious! Very recommendable!

The property is in a great location in a small village and is a peaceful area to stay in. Liz the host if pleasant, informative and eager to assist with travel information.

The property needs some loving care and maintenance. For a property with a 9 - 10 rating. I do not understand how the ratings work . The room has nowhere to put bags or cases, and it is difficult to live out of a case on the floor. Nowhere to hang anything in the bedroom either. The bathroom needs a good scrub to remove all the slimy mould from the unsealed stone floor and from the inside of the large square ‘concrete sink’ where you should be able to wash hands or rinse you cups or clothes without the fear of green mould/bacteria getting in you you anything that touches it. There is no hook to hang the hand held shower, cold water only, from. All of the water from the shower and trough/basin goes straight onto the floor, and the residue from shampoo, soap and toothpaste all collects in the floor , that is always wet under foot, although there is a flow drain hole at the side of the walk. The whole bathroom is a chance for bacteria to grow and spread. The slimy feel on the soles of your feet in unwelcoming .

Bale Ku, is a great place to stay. Lisa and Sutar, are wonderful hosts, are incredibly welcoming and incredibly helpful. With hits over the water and great views, you’ll love staying at Bale Ku. Breakfast and dinner were provided and both were fresh and delicious. My hosts, helped me with my taxi and helped me with my tour of green canyon. Highly recommend!

Be wary of the preacher who thinks it’s a good idea to start talking at 4 in the morning. You need good ear protection.

Beautiful environment, host provided fantastic dinner and breakfast, and arranged guided tour of the neighborhood on scooter (including visiting green valley and green canyon) which our family absolutely loved!!

Everything was perfect !! This accommodation is just wonderful . The owner Ibu Lis and her husband are such a good people !! You must to go there if you plan to stay in Pangandaran… Terima kasih banyak 🙏🏽

Beautiful location amidst the rice paddies..very tasty food. Very helpful staff and owners speak English. Good wifi.

A bit noisy mosques in the neighbourhood but that is not unusual in Java.. No warm water but this is for me not a real necessity.

Very beautiful place to stay and relax. The staff is very friendly and helps you with any request you have. Slept so well because it is quiet and there is a nice breeze at night.

A bit far off the centre but again staff helps you to get anywhere you need
