"A very happy short stay."

A very comfortable room with excellent facilities in a pretty shaded setting. The owner was very welcoming and we enjoyed our overnight stay.

Unfortunately, the coffee machine had broken at breakfast time but a minor mishap.A very comfortable stay en route from Johannesburg to Hluhluwe and we enjoyed an excellent evening meal at the restaurant across the road.

It worked - did not book breakfast but otherwise all services were in place

Location is quite noisy with all the heavy duty lorries passing through the town - but that is one's lot in Piet Retief! Tile floor was cold - no carpet or rug.
