"An interesting and enjoyable stay."

Well positioned rooms on levels round a small swimming pool. Beautiful gardens to sit in . Easy walk down to interesting town with lots of restaurants, cafes and a good museum area. Free shuttle service to pick you up and bring home from major restaurants. The town felt safe though. Breakfasts were good and plentiful. The sherry provided was lovely.

The room safe was not working, possibly a problem for some. Lots of steps in the property, again maybe a problem for some.

"Superb"

Nicely situated with everything within walking distance. Fun to speak with friendly host that also had lots of useful tips. Lovely patio and garden area to relax on and enjoy the view.

Room a bit small for 2 hard suitcases that need opening up to ”double size”. Reading light by bed have potential for improvement.

"A 1 night stop over in Mossel Bay with friends before starting off on the Garden Route"

The property was a little quirky and in a good location with parking available. Friendly host and loved the fact that we were encouraged to treat the whole house as our own. Breakfast was good and even a little sherry provided for a nightcap

No bottled water in the rooms. Although breakfast was freshly cooked we weren’t offered options so we automatically got a full breakfast it may have been better if we were asked what we wanted at the time. The host did ask us on arrival if we had any food allergies or food we didn’t eat

The host and staff were very friendly and engaging, making us feel welcome and at home. Breakfast was always pleasant with a different warm breakfast option. The atmosphere was homely, and there was always great conversation, chatter, and laughter with the staff and other guests. Thanks, Shirley and Sonja
