Deepsky Villa

The place, the atmosphere and specially the staff who were taking more than great care of us during our stay, and made it like heaven on earth for us. Owners were great nad really helpful when we need something, but speciall thanks is to the Asty who is running that place, and I can't imagine that we would have such a great time if she would not be around all the time!

An absolutely beautiful place with gorgeous rooms and extremely friendly staff. we only stayed for one night as we had another place booked due to the boat timetable. Venny picked us up from the harbour and Jaques gave us a brilliant tour of the night sky. we were made to feel really welcome and comfortable. Asti was really helpful in telling us about the island and settling us in. Thank you all for making us feel so at home. The rooms themselves are absolutely beautiful, comfortable, clean and gorgeously decorated. The pool was also really lovely - it was amazing to swim at night under lots of stars! A huge thank you to all of the team at Deepsky, even though it was one night we will really remember it forever. Luke and Anna ❤️

I spend here a fantastic week! It is really quiet and calm and the nature is all around you. The accommodation is charming and comfortable. The cracking of the wooden floor was what made the experience complete. The hosts and employees are amazingly friendly and helpful. They took me with them to several beautiful and nice places and gave a lot of tips where to go. They even helped me with some public transport after my visit of the this outstanding island. Jacq, one of the hosts, is very passionate about astronomy and showed my with his telescope planets like Jupiter and Saturn. I would recommend this accommodation to everyone who’s looking for a relaxing, beautiful place and a great hospitality.

A welcome like no other! It started already on the chat when we were still at home. They booked te ferry tickets for us and we were well informed. Once arrived at the harbour we were welcomed by one of their agents so we did not have to stand in line. Once in Karimunjawa we were picked up by the driver. At Deepsky the welcome committy with home made ice tea. Everything was taken care of and they really go above and beyond. They can arrange almost about anything. Scooter, island hopping, aloë vera, island information & best tips? No problem! The rooms were very nice, good bed and great shower. The a la carte breakfast is super good as well. At night you can get a masterclass astronomy and by clear light you can see trough the telescope. Thank you for the amazing hospitality and experience!

Great staff, multiple languages such as Indonesian, Dutch, English. Very helpfull (scooter rent, tourist spotts, snorkling trip). Local look and feel. Very nice pool. Great food: breakfast and dinner.

Very warm welcome and support by the owners & staff. They helped us arrange many things during our visit, like motor rental, Island hopping, ferry tickets and great suggestions what to visit. The Star gazing is amazing at this spot, highly recommended! We rented the Family villa, spacious and very nice authentic wood & colored glass decorations. Close to the best beaches on the island and just 10 min by bike to town. Nasi goreng or pancake, both are super tasty!!!

The big bed is very beautiful, but sometimes we bumped our head accidentally to the golden ornament when we wake up or when we go to bed :D PS. If you have little kids (3 years of younger), you need to be a little bit more careful as as going into the bathroom (family villa) is a little bit steep. These just minor details. Further is super pleasant stay!

The cottage from heaven, don’t have any other words to describe this place. We spent four perfect days in small and wonderfully decorated cottage with a sea view, great terrace next to a swimming pool. The cottage itself is small piece of art with possibilities to open side walls, mosquito nets, ac, fairytale stone bathroom and small working table. Inside, everything is made from wonderful massive wood with huge comfortable bed in the middle. You have everything needed, from toiletries and water to mosquito repellent and safe. The whole villa is perfectly organized, so you can enjoy fresh seafood dishes, fresh fruit juices and free coffee whole day. The staff is incredibly helpful and efficient, ready to realize all your wishes necessary for a dream vacation. We are not much into astronomy but you can even spend the evening by watching starts from here with serious equipment. So far best place we stayed in Indonesia, and we really hope to come again.
