Cala Sith Guesthouse

Really friendly and helpful people, couldn't have been nicer. Always open breakfast room where guests are free to eat takeaway meals was a big bonus in a village where there are limited options for eating out. Room was quiet and comfortable.

Nothing really. Islay is a very expensive island, and by those standards Cala Sith offers very good value.

The location was ideal, minutes from the ferry terminal with plenty of parking. Hosting was very good, Aislinn is friendly and welcoming, and our room, though small, was immaculately clean as was the adjacent private bathroom. Breakfast was exceptional, so much choice from cereals and porridge, fresh fruit, yogurts, croissants, muffins, pancakes, fresh coffee and a great choice of teas and juices.

Our room was quite small but we were really only in it to sleep so it didn't really impact our stay.

Our bathroom was separate from the room. This was ok, however it wasn't that clear in the photos/description when booking the room. They did provide some nice gowns to help tiptoeing back and forth.

Everything was great, the rooms are very small but clean and with all the necessary to stay for some days, besides I've loved the possibility to use the "breakfast room" at any time. There is also a microwave in there, very useful to heat something! The owner was so kind and always present for any of our needs: our room was a little cold because of a malfunction and she came to bring us an electric heater, besides she gifted us a taxi ride because we had a bad time in Islay because of the storm, she was very wonderful. We hope to return in a better and sunnier season, the island was beautiful anyway.

Close to the ferry on arrival, convenient to everything on the island, comfortable and homey. The staff was incredibly hospitable and made our stay very special.

La colazione non era delle migliori che mi è capitato di fare, anche se non c’era nulla che andasse male. Il bagno, privato, era nella porta accanto, anche se in camera c’era una vestaglia e le pantofole per gli ospiti

Great location, clean, friendly and helpful staff.

The single beds in room one are a little small for an adult and a bit hard, so not the most comfortable. The shower in the private bathroom for room one is tiny but decent pressure and good hot water, so [just] manageable.
