Very quiet, very clean, friendly owners and great for access to nearby town and facilities. Nice breakfast and competitive price. A short walk to some good bars and good local restaurants.

Plenty of parking and Simon was extremely efficient and friendly. The Room was lovely and it had the best shower pressure and temperature. The breakfast was fabulous and being very dog friendly was the icing on the cake! Will definitely be back very soon.

Spacious and clean rooms in a conveniently located B&B for the centre of Ashby. The friendly owner welcomed us and cooked an excellent breakfast the next morning. Nothing too fancy about the place, but everything was excellent, including the price.

The guest house is located in a beautiful Victorian building in a calm environment close to the town centre. The host is welcoming and always ready to help. The rooms and the dining area were clean and tidy. We enjoyed the view of the garden. Probably, early March is not the busiest time of the year, but we enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere. There is a selection of breakfast options, however, we mostly opted for the full English, which was made with care and was really delicious. We got plenty of toasts on Friday, but not as many on Saturday, it was enough though:) The beds were all right, we had a good sleep.

Only the inside of the kettle in the room looked rather strange, in need of a thorough descaling and cleaning. Everything else was perfectly clean, so the kettle was surprising. The floor of the dining area and almost everything in it stuck, probably because of some cleaning material.

Location 5 minutes walk from town centre, modern shower and bathroom, great breakfast, very friendly host.

Head of bed was a bit wobbly.
