Very practical studio apartment. We loved the little table and chairs plus lounge - it made the stay comfortable. We were able to walk into both Windermere and down to Bowness easily. When we arrived Martin greeted us, gave us the opportunity to have a slightly different apartment (one without an extra single bed - which we took) and gave us information about walking around the neighbourhood.

Good quiet location, walking distance for Bowness or Lake Windermere, private parking, Would stay there again.

Peaceful as it was slightly away from the biz of Windermere. Comfortable beds. Fab shower. Everything immaculate.

Didn't seem to be able to control the heating so we got a bit too warm. Was it Hive controlled?

Excellent location for walking into Windermere.

Close to the centre of Windermere the studio room was very useful for a few days visit whilst attending a wedding in the area.

Location was great for exploring the wider Lake District (hadn’t been back for nearly 50 years!). Perfectly situated for Windermere or Bowness, and beyond. Very helpful call from host on arrival, explained what was nearby. Lent us an air-fryer to complement the appliances already there.

The bathroom extractor needs to be more powerful, or better ventilation somehow. No matter if left on, everything smelt damp in the air, when returning after a day out. After 3 nights sleeping alongside the bathroom door, my chest was suffering. Bedside lights that are reachable from the bed would be great, and perhaps some coat hooks near the entrance door, to keep wet jackets where they might dry? Some local artwork on the walls? Showcase this fabulous location. Anyone with mobility needs would struggle with this property and driveway (45 degree slope).
