"Overnight stay on the road for final destination with two seniors"

Nice hotel, close to highway. Free parking, good restaurant.

At booking we asked for room accessible with lift or ground floor which was accorded and confirmated. Upon arrival such a room appeared to be non existent, only room on first floor with high staircase. Owner had overlooked the message partially, made a mistake. Our 85 year old mother had to climb the staircase in the end with some assistence but it was not ideal. Lesson to learn: scroll up in your booking window messages to avoid this from happening again. Luckily she wasn’t in a wheelchair. The remark : well we’re sorry but you can cancel and go somewhere else’ I did find a bit akward. Not the reaction one would expect. I would have said: so sorry, how can we help, sit down, can we offer you a drink….’ It was a bit stressful after long day on Autobahn and it was a pity as the hotel seems overall nice enough.

"Just okay."

The restaurant was good to include breakfast.

The owners wife for some reason didn’t want to speak English to us even though she mentioned on the telephone she did. Mattresses are in need of replacement as they are at life’s end.

"Simple room, wonderful food"

Easy to find on the main street, small car park, few exras in the room but enough for an overnight stay. The evening meal was excellent, possibly the best meal of our trip, breakfast was the normal European one, but tasty. Will stay again when in the vicinity

"Nice hotel near the motor way"

Perfect stop over, near the Motorway. Nice forest in the neighboorhood to go running. Nice dinner.

Some noise in the room from the road in front of the hotel.

"Excellent"

Location,very clean.

We stayed here before,and was looking forward to a nice dinner.But the kitchen was closed on thursday night.☹️And only one pizzeria was open in a whole little town,which wasn't really good.Next time we make sure staying again on the weekend.

"Excellent stay on the way south!"

Friendly people, who were there to help us even at our late arrival. Clean rooms, and a great breakfast. Only when driving out of the town the next day, we saw how beautiful it was. Definitely to come back!

We were really very positively surprised.
