After seeing the photos on Booking.com, we already had very high expectations, but the reality exceeded everything we had imagined. This guesthouse is located in what must be the most beautiful spot in the Douro Valley, with the most breathtaking views we saw anywhere in the region. Maria, our host, welcomed us with genuine warmth and made us feel at home from the very first moment. The personal attention was exceptional—every request we had was met promptly and graciously, often going above and beyond what we expected. The infinity pool, perfectly integrated into the stunning landscape, made the experience even more memorable. Relaxing there while overlooking the valley was simply unforgettable.Breakfast was abundant, fresh, and delicious. As a special gesture, Maria even offered to prepare a fresh vegetable salad for us in the morning, despite it not being on the menu. We feel fortunate to have stayed here and are genuinely envious of everyone who will have the opportunity to visit this remarkable place. Without a doubt, it was one of the highlights of our trip to the Douro Valley. Highly recommended!
