This place was exceptional

Ideal position near the beach. Great communication with the owner who recommended some places to eat! [They were excellent]. Loved the feel it gave towards Whitley Bay and coastal seaside resort in the North.

We smiled at the room but people with poor mobility might have found it frustrating to move about. Loved the narrow wardrobes, creaky floorboards, and old stately feel, as you nipped to the toilet along the corridor or trying to sneak in during the early hours: some would not. The parking was roadside but we had no issues- I guess some people might.

The location is fantastic, 2 minutes from the sea, and beautiful scenic routes. The guest house is huge and very clean and tidy, the room we were in was lovely, very clean and comfortable with everything we could need, coffee milk and sugar provided free with a kettle, microwave, dishes and cutlery provided, modern style TV which was better than some hotels I've used, Wendy is super friendly and nice and the bonus of being able to take my dog with me, you don't need to take a bowl for your dogs water as Wendy said she would gladly provide that. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed sun sets and sun rises, we saw dolphins in the morning and a seal playing in the sea, it was a beautiful stay and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Location great..easy to access. Comfy

Parking a little hard but host assisted us with an of road parking

The owner Wendy was an absolutely lovely lady and the rooms were clean and comfortable

At night the area did not feel so safe
