Ubytovanie Klinger - chata nad jazerom

The location is excellent: in the forest, 10 mins walk to Klinger lake or the mine, scenic walks, and also easy to access by car from the center if you have done some shopping. Lovely and comfortable furniture, a private terrace on the ground floor, huge kitchen to seat a large family. Super friendly host!

We stayed for two nights on the beginning of the week, so I think we were the only guest during that time. That means we enjoyed the facilities just for ourselves, including the fully equiped kitchen and outside bbq area. The whole place had a nice and calm atmosphere and is surrounded by nature. Very nice little lake couple of minutes walk with lovely buffet. Overall this area offers many opportunities to explore gorgeous Slovakian nature with low risk of bear encounter. The historical town center cannot be omitted. Our host was extremely helpful and overall nice person.

The place is little harder to access by car due to its position higher in mountains. Our host provided very detailed description, how to get there, so it was not a big deal and we managed even with city car like Honda Civic. :)

My family and I enjoyed a private location. The road to this place is quite narrow but you get used to it. A small lake near the house is very quite and beautiful place. There is a good sauna for extra price. We were place for BBQ and also for a campfire. The garden is green and there was place to play for our kids. It about 20 minutes walk to the center of Banska Stiavnica, but the way back is more difficult. Because it all way up to the hill.

Peace and solitude just sitting outside the room in private seating area from private access surrounded by trees with a sneak view across the valley was a great start. Room was comfortable and clean. Shower was best I’ve had so far in six weeks travel with respect to water pressure and temp and no annoying shower curtains flapping around or water escaping across the floor. Shared kitchen with washing machine. Bonus was we had the whole place to ourselves as were mid-weekers. Robert was nothing but helpful our entire stay. While in town go see Bethlehem and the “secret” town model across the small square past the bar area!

Allow an extra 6 Euro to get to the place from the town - you do not want to carry your bag the kilometre up hill. The place is advertised with a sauna and outdoor spa pool, what we didn’t know was that if you wanted to use it the cost was 50Euro to start the thing and allow 3-7 hours from idea to execution - so we didn’t.

It was very easy and friendly communication with the owner, he made us feel very welcomed, always there for us to help with any needs and requests :) We booked whole house that is located in quiet location, the rooms are big and the kitchen large enough to get there together 7aduls and 6 children. Sauna and jacuzzi great for winter cold nights. Thank you :) Alena

Great hosts! The house is further from the town, its quiet and peaceful. The garden was awesome, loved the multiple terraces. House was nice and clean, with plenty of space.

There was nothing i didnt like.
