"Beautiful property with the best staff!"

Absolutely loved my stay at Cheeky Monkeys! I joined a 2D/1N jungle trek with Darwin and Mowgli - the two of them are a great team and combine knowledge and enthusiasm in the best way possible. I could not have asked for a better experience - thank you very much! I would also like to thank the rest of the team, including Ade and Santa, for their hospitality and friendliness throughout my stay. Would always be happy to return to Cheeky Monkeys! While the location is a little outside the centre of Bukit Lawang (20 min by foot), the location offers a relaxing garden and the walk through the village is very beautiful.

Our stay with Sumatra Cheeky Monkeys was incredible. We stayed for one night before starting our Jungle Trek. The room was very cozy and fit the vibe of the area you are staying in perfectly. The bed was comfortable and both the room and bathroom were clean. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and you feel so welcomed to stay at Cheeky Monkeys. Our favourite stay of our travels so far 10/10 would recommend!

The place is beautiful, super clean, spacious and relaxing. The people who own it, Agus and Sarah, they're super friendly, and so is the entire staff. Eli's cooking is amazing. Well, I even loved the doggies in the place. Good vibes everywhere.

Very kind and welcoming people! They were very flexlibe and helpful in everything needed. A very quiet place, close to the village and a bit away from the busy town. Big and well equipped room, with a nice terrace and a comfy bed. I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this place.

Sono davvero contento di aver scelto questa struttura per il mio soggiorno e il trek nella giungla. Guida bravissima, ha saputo aiutarmi quando ero in difficoltà durante il trek. Tutto lo staff della struttura davvero gentile e ospitale. Ma quello che ho apprezzato di più è stata la cucina: bravissima la chef Eli, cibo genuino e piatti tradizionali.

La tranquillité et la vue sur le petit lac. Très bon petit déjeuner mais un peu cher. Personnel souriant et toujours à l'écoute.

Un peu éloigné du centre et des restaurants. Pas d'eau chaude.
