Casa Luminosa

Neat, modern, affordable and cosy Guesthouse with lot of community space like a loving room and kitchen. Felt like a shared flat.

Was not able to shut down the heater due to missing knob.

Owner very nice. Good location close to RV trail. Nice garden, kitchen.

I rented the room that had private bathroom. It had private bathroom but not in the bedroom . The bathroom was 2 doors away next to the kitchen. It was quiet when I stayed but if busy I would imagine less sleep with people cooking😱 Also I wasn't given any toilet roll in toilet. It was fine for 1 night stay.

There are 2 floors, most of the rooms are upstairs. There is a lot of space - enough in rooms, bathroom is quite big, kitchen (with a lot of utensils) as well, living room is huge. There is a yard around the house, where you can dry clothes or hang out. It was clean and warm (which for January was important). It is almost in the centre of Carrapateira, but then again - everything is. It is a small town.

Matrace was veeeery soft. It almost felt like sleeping in a hammock.

Clean and easy one night stay. Good room, clean common area.

Internet slow in the room

Nice room + common areas, good shower + kitchen equipment, quiet neighborhood

The room is a bit damp and you have to call when you want to check in (luckily we have free phone calls within Portugal)

Only a half block off the Fisherman’s Trail, Casa Luminosa is perfectly situated after a long hike. There is a mini mercado just a few minutes away in the village center. The entire house is open for use with a lovely kitchen, dining and livingroom. There was a clothesline available for use (and a washer).

We initially had difficulty as the street name has changed.

Perfectly placed on the Rota Vincentina. Well equipped kitchen and nice, clean rooms. Would recommend!
