Casa Luminosa

I booked a the Deluxe room and it was beautiful! Very spacious, nicely decorated and there was a good heater. Downstairs there are a very nice living and dining room for guests to use, and a fully equipped kitchen. It's a 2 minute walk to the Microbar (delicious salads) and the supermarket. Highly recommended ❤️

Excellent facilities, clean rooms, bathroom and kitchen. The house is very neat and the rooms brightly colored, giving an overall happy feeling to the place

We visited in winter, and the central heating was turned off, which is kind of unacceptable at this time of the year. The room was chilling cold and we had difficulty sleeping because of this.

Too cold room as the heating system was not working in the house. The staff gave us misleading information regarding the restaurants and facilities available in town. The window blinds were dirty, full of spider webs. No shampoo available in the bathroom either.

Carrapateira isn't big and the location of the house is close to the entrance of the village. Tomas meet us at the front 2min after I ring him. The house has 3 more rooms, a share big living room and a kitchen with all the materials you need plus some basics like pasta, rice and a dish and clothes washer. Our room had a nice balcony and a big bathroom.

If only they could have provided with some oil for us to cook, it would be perfect. Also, the room at night is cold but we had a little heater to help us thought it.

Easy communication, welcoming staff. The house is well equipped as advertised, I was happy to wash my clothes and have where to hang them. I was also happy to find a hot water bottle in the closed. Rooms are colorful, very clean and have very good atmosphere. Quiet location, such a nice village.

the room was supposed to be a twin, but in the tiny room were a double and a single bed. as a result you had barely space to walk. the single bed was a squeaky folding bed too. the double rooms are fine, but I specifically booked a twin, not a crowded triple. also the staff was the least friendly I met in Portugal.
