Haus Gerlinde

Gerlinde was very pleasant, showed us where everything was, explained a bit about the town. The room was very clean with modern bathroom The accommodation was in walking distance to the township and wonderful forest trails

A very hard bed could do with a topper pad

Beautiful location in a quaint German village, very close to the train station. The owner of the guesthouse is a wonderful woman, who made sure everything was perfect for my stay. Has a kitchenette, a very comfortable bed, and decently close to restaurants and the village.

Lovely place, excellent for 2 or 3 people, new flat. The host was very kind and available during our whole stay. She offered us a breakfast, which unfortunately we didn't take. Check in was fast and easy. All was cleaned and ready for our visit. I liked the small details, the curtains, the small Christmas decoration. The location cannot be better, it is very quiet and next to the forest. In the vicinity there is a bakery. The center of the village is a bit far away simply because the village is too long (few km). I loved the view from the terrace, which is also sufficiently large to accommodate the guests if they wish to have a coffee & cake. The heating was keeping the flat warm during the day and in the evening. The bathroom is spacy and had everything. The same applies for the kitchen. There is another apartment given for rent, but there was no noise from there to disturb us. There was a parking place, which was great. Overall, we would come back again with pleasure.

It is difficult to sleep in the middle of the sofa bed, because of the folding mechanism and the sofa bed was a bit too hard. At night, the heating stops, so in the living room gets a bit cold. The blankets help. Cleaning the dust from the top of the kitchen facilities and objects hanging on the wall, would be beneficial.

Everything about this place was beyond exceptional. The host was really helpful and kind, and the place was cozy and warm.

Frau Gerlinde was a wonderful hostess, very welcoming with lots of good recommendations. Easy to find, quiet nights rest, great breakfast. Highly recommend!
