Braemar House

Ein sauberes Zimmer, das Badezimmer war ebenfalls sauber, wird aber natürlich von mehreren Leuten genutzt. Dementsprechend ist man darauf angewiesen, dass auch die anderen Urlauber Sauberkeit einhalten. Das war leider nicht immer so, da kann die Gastgeberin überhaupt nichts für. Es gibt immer etwas, was man sich mitnehmen kann wie zum Beispiel Bananen, Äpfel oder kleine Muffins .Claire ist auch immer superschnell erreichbar gewesen, was ich persönlich ziemlich gut finde. Die Unterkunft hat eine zentrale Lage, zu Fuß kommt man wunderbar in die Stadt, wenn man ein Auto hat kann man dieses auch direkt an der Unterkunft stehen lassen. Sollte man dort keinen Parkplatz finden, gibt es ganz nah eine Vielzahl von Parkplätzen.

Grundsätzlich hat mir alles an der Unterkunft gefallen, lediglich wäre zu empfehlen, ein Vorhang zum verdunkeln anzubringen, damit am Abend beziehungsweise in der Nacht der Raum auch abgedunkelt werden kann.

The building looks neat and lovely. The room felt clean and spacious. The check in was easy and the host, Claire was really nice (via text) and flexible.

There was no communal fridge where the guests could put the food in. The beds were a bit too soft for our taste and the shower drain sometimes didn’t drain water fast enough.

Pour des personnes qui aimons l’intimité, nous étions très contente de l’intimité que proposait la chambre et les propriétaires n’étaient pas du tout intrusives. Le petit plus qui nous avait rassuré était le petit frigo dans la chambre, nous avions pu acheter de quoi mettre au frigo

Great location, comfortable rooms

Super petit point d'arret au pieds du jacobite steam train (qui malheureusement ne passe pas cette année) mais tout pret du centre ville et de Ben navis pour les rando! . Il y a un couloir avec des fruits et des gateaux , on peut se servir comme on veut .

le bruit dans la maison : dès qu'une personne est réveillée, nous l'étions aussi. Porte qui claque, sol du dessus qui grince, forts bruits d'écoulement des eaux lorsque quelqu'un prend sa douche au dessus (avec en prime un fort claquement des tuyaux lors de l'écoulement). On aurait voulu plus calme. Le partage en guest house ne nous a pas convenu ici.

Overall enjoyed our stay here. Comfortable bed and plenty of tea and coffee available. Although it's not in the centre of town, it's a nice walk to get there and the area around the house is nice and peaceful. There are nice walks along the river that are close to the house. Everything was clean and the host was friendly. Other reviews had mentioned noise from other guests but we didn't have any issues with this. There is a shared bathroom, but we knew this beforehand so you just have to expect to maybe wait to use it sometimes.

Only a couple of minor things. It would be good to have some form of storage in the room, even just some small drawers to put clothes in rather than just living out of your bag or keeping everything on the floor. Also the TV had options for Netflix/ BBC iPlayer etc but we weren't able to use this as the TV wasn't connected to the internet. There were still other channels available to view.

Gute Lage und sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Großer Prakplatz und ein schön eingerichtet Bad.
