Jim Guesthouse

I loved this place and wished I had more time here! Bed is super comfortable and I slept many many hours at night... Even as an insomniac! Everything is super clean. Also the only place in Thailand that included breakfast 💜 Jim is a great host, very kind and friendly, as are her pets. She's around a lot of the time if you need anything or have questions (like when my shoes broke down on my feet, haha) Location is away from the bars with weird white men and near a lovely restaurant on the river shore (7 minutes walking, I recommend it especially for the evening.) You are surrounded by nature and almost no car noise. If you're travelling solo, and are looking for a quiet place that feels like home, you're good. If you're looking for a party/very social place, look elsewhere.

Literally nothing. One of the best places I've stayed on this 2-month trip.

Gemütliche kleine Anlage mit Pool. Vermieterin sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.Wenn man Fragen hat wegen Taxi, TukTuk, Ausflüge... kümmert sie sich sofort darum. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt als Zwischenstopp sehr zu empfehlen

Badezimmer etwas spartanisch. Keine Kleiderablage vorhanden., nur eine Kleiderstange mit ein paar Kleiderbügel. Frühstück ok

Jim est dynamique, réactive, a de bons conseils, c'est agréable de discuter avec elle. La guesthouse se trouve à 5-10 minutes à pied de la rue animée : c'est super agréable de dormir au calme, loin de l'agitation. La chambre est très très très propre, le lit est ferme (parfait), le wifi est stable et performant. Je n'ai pas testé la piscine mais l'endroit était sympa. Le petit déjeuner fait l'affaire pour commencer la journée ! Merci beaucoup ❤️

Het is een rustige plek niet ver van de straat met restaurantjes en winkeltjes. Huisjes zijn schoon en er is een zwembad. Wij hebben daar een paar dagen heerlijk gehad na het drukke Bangkok. Het verblijf wordt gerund door een hele lieve eigenaresse die alles netjes verzorgd en voor je regelt.

Quiet location and exceptionally helpful owner who arranged excursions and transport for us. Maybe 15 minutes pleasant walk to the main street but there is a good restaurant just round the corner. Good breakfast! Nice pool and garden

Room was quite small but not a problem

Fijn, schoon huisje, op loopafstand van centrum en iets verder de bridge. Vriendelijke, kordate dame. Fijn zwembad, groot genoeg voor aantal gasten. Ontbijt: toast en 2 eitjes, jam en wat fruit en koffie. Goede wifi.

De tv werkte niet meer, haal dat dan uit de omschrijving.

Absolutely fantastic. The host was first class, The rooms very clean. Fresh towels were available and bottled water given everyday. The pool fantastic, sunbeds with towels provided in the rooms to lay on. The breakfast beautiful, eggs and ham if you wanted it, toast, fruit, tea and coffee and fruit juice..All in all a very nice place to stay, 10 to 15 min walk to local supermarkets and plenty of bars and restaurants. Tourist attraction like the Burma death railway museum and the bridge over the river kwai again 30 min walk or a 10 min tuk tuk ride.

Location is great. The owner really helped with organising a taxi to take us out for the day. Room is basic but clean and all you need. Pool is an added bonus after a long day exploring. Visit to bridge, war cemetery and Hell fire pass is a must for anyone interested in the history of the area.
