"Wonderful bicycle friendly B&B"

We had a wonderful stay at this B&B. The owners were extremely welcoming and also provided advice for our onward journey. Breakfast was excellent. There is a locked shed for secure bicycle storage and the owners even offered to wash our clothes.

There is nothing to be disliked about this property 😊

"Exhausted but worth the trip for the Celtic and Pictish festival"

When I arrived I asked if the room was available the next night. At the time it wasn’t but a few hours later the host let me know that due to no shows/cancellations that I could stay another night. Very helpful and friendly

"Comfy cosy stay in the heart of the town."

Friendly check in, charming property with a great history. Very spacious and well fitted room, slightly dated but still nicely decorated. Extremely comfy bed and crisp linen. The glasses and bottle opener were a lovely touch. The bathroom was also very spacious and well appointed, lovely hot shower. Parking round the back, not the easiest to manouvere with several cars already parked but thats me being very picky. Good selection at breakfast in a lovely light dining room with great service. Very dog friendly.

Netter Empfang. Wir konnten wegen des schlechten Wetters das Zimmer schon früher beziehen. Geräumiges Familienzimmer. Leckeres Homemade Frühstück inbegriffen (inkl. Auswahl von verschiedenen schottischen Spezialitäten). Freie Nutzung von Netflix.

Leider hatte es im Familienzimmer nur einen Stuhl.

"Simple but clean accommodation with great hosts and breakfast."

In an area with limited accommodation options it would be easy to overlook this property but that would be a mistake. Friendly hosts, spacious rooms which were spotlessly clean (if a little dated), and a great home-cooked breakfast.

Rooms were a little cold but there is heating which has to be switched on manually.
