I liked the fact the road was not as bad as I had anticipated considering I drive a sedan, and especially after the rains. The owner was extremely helpful and welcomed us. Our bags were carried inside for us by the workers. Our fire was started for us for a braai. There are many activities around the lodge, we had good suggestions by the host. The units were neat and the kitchen fully equipped. We came with our kitten and he was kept safely away from the dogs of other tenants.

Nothing extremely happy ☺️

We had a peaceful and tranquil weekend. Just what we needed from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our host Werner and staff were friendly. The cottage is cozy, clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Werner goes the extra mile to make your stay more relaxing and comfortable. Looking forward to our next visit.

Absolutely gorgeous and a super relaxing weekend with the best host, Werner! The place was warm and cozy with staff always willing to assist with anything. No issues at all. Many things to do around Riverbend.
