Elegant Holiday Home

Homely accomodation not far from Gregory lake and a short tuk tuk ride into town. Very quiet and tidy rooms. The hosts were lovely and looked after us especially when our son was unwell.

The bathroom was wet but that seems to be a common theme over here.

It is a beautiful property located in the heart of Nuwara Eliya town. Owners were very friendly and inside of the property looks just like in the photos they shows in their booking.com page. Nice living area and dining area. Also had very comfy beds and bedrooms are well maintained. Bathrooms were clean and had hot water. Nice kitchen with all the necessary equipments. I loved it there!

We visited Elegant Home a month ago and the rooms and the washrooms were really clean and comfortable. The place had a nice view and a parking area which was great. The owners were exceptionally kind and polite. The pictures on website were exactly as advertised.

The owner of the property cheering the guest when guest book the room via booking.com due to commission payment for booking.com. the owner will give the room to the guest who comes directly without booking.com. Even rooms are already booked via booking.com.

Good value for money. We had the property to ourselves on our booking, so we had full access to the living room. There is a gas powered hob so you can cook if you need to. Owner was friendly and helpful, giving us numbers for transport.

There is damp, but it is a very wet area so I imagine it’s hard to maintain.
