Baan Phuvara Retreat - Romantic Jacuzzi Mountain View Villas

We stayed in the main villa that I booked for our honeymoon. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a couple of drinks, and a member of staff gave us a tour of the property. It was a lovely touch from the hotel to prepare a honeymoon surprise on the bed for us. The location was great, and we thoroughly enjoyed our entire stay. It’s a wonderful place to switch off and relax - I especially loved listening to the sounds of the animals at night. The staff were kind, attentive, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The villa was clean, spacious, and had powerful air conditioning units in each room. The showers were excellent, and there were plenty of towels, bathrobes, and umbrellas provided. The staff were always responsive and even let us know when our driver had arrived at reception. We stayed in touch with them via WhatsApp throughout our stay, which was very convenient. They checked in regarding essentials such as whether we required housekeeping that day and what breakfast we wanted for the following morning, including our preferred delivery time. Breakfast was brought to the villa each morning at the scheduled time agreed the previous evening. We enjoyed it, and it was enough to start the day well. However, a little more variety on the menu would have been appreciated, as some of the options felt more like lunch than breakfast. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily return in no time.

The property was beautiful. Great location. All the staff were so friendly and attentive. Hotel did us a lovely honeymoon welcome on our bed and also did the same when it was birthday.

The only part I would say is that the breakfast wasn’t great and it would be good to have the option for room service in the day. They only have breakfast, however due to the location being good, there are many places to get food locally.

Insects on the balcony, cold water

Der Blick von der Villa ist wirklich traumhaft. Der Tempel direkt direkt nebenan ist ebenfalls sehr schön. In der Anlage war es sehr ruhig. Die Villa selbst ist geräumig und sehr ansprechend gestaltet. Sie hat unsere Erwartungen, die wir von Bildern hatten, noch übertroffen. Die Kommunikation (direkt am Empfang oder über WhatsApp) hat wunderbar funktioniert. Frühstück am Vortag bestellt - es war immer pünktlich und wie bestellt auf dem Zimmer. Ein Restaurant oder Frühstücksraum ist nicht vorhanden. Was vorher klar war: es sind einige Stufen zur Villa. Man ist etwas "ab vom Schuss" (genau, wie wir es wollten :-)). Wir hatten einen Mietwagen. Damit ist man in ein paar Minuten in Ao Nang oder am Strand.

One of the highlights was enjoying breakfast in the room with stunning scenery—it was both relaxing and memorable. The jacuzzi was also a great feature, perfect for unwinding and soaking in the surroundings. The resort provides a complimentary one-way shuttle to the beach, which is a convenient option for guests who want to explore beyond the hilltop. Overall, a beautiful and romantic place to stay, ideal for relaxing and enjoying incredible views.
