The Bethesda

The fridge in the room. Good breakfast. Very clean room. Nice sheets and good quality towels.

Staff were not very friendly or helpful. We had to ask for everything. What is the wifi code, can we park inside and how late is breakfast etc? They did not know how much the breakfast costs and when we wanted to pay cash, they did not have change. Then they had to phone the owner who was still in bed and we had to wait and wait. Bed lights in our room were huge and in the way. To big and very unpractical.

Beautiful garden and fruit trees, friendly adorable animals, quiet, serene, welcoming, beautiful home, gorgeous! Clean room and bathroom, good shower pressure, big comfortable bed and bedding.

Atmosphere and great reception

The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. The rooms were beautiful. In fact my very fussy son said “Mum you’re setting a very high standard for the rest of the trip!”. The location was ideal -could walk to all places of interest.

Ludolf and Carla were exceptional. Friendly staff and a lovely town full of character and old world charm. The breakfast in the morning was exceptional. Will be back next year.
