"Quiet location, but not suitable for two couples."

Quiet location with a beautiful garden. Very nice and interesting interior design.

This cottage was not suitable for two couples as one double bed was placed in the living/kitchen area. There was no ventilation in the bathroom.

"Left stranded, as property owners were unreachable"

After making a successful booking via Booking.com, my mother and I were left stranded. Check-in was meant to be from 2pm to midnight, but when we arrived at ~22.45, there was no one at the property. I tried calling multiple times, and also sent a text message and a message on Booking.com platform, but was unable to get a hold of anyone. It's been 3 days, and I've still received no response; apology or refund. We only found alternative accommodation because we happened to encounter a security guard at a different property who could assist us. Otherwise, we would have had no place to sleep, compromising our safety. Be very, very careful if you choose to book here.
