Kaxa Shorena Guest-House

Very nice room with a great view, only a few minutes walking from the town and bus stop. Host are really friendly. Good shower with hot water.

The older gentleman welcomed me with tea and some cookies for my hike! I dropped off my bag early in the morning and came back to it already stashed in the room. When I headed out for a short hike later in the day, the same gentleman immediately offered his last piece of the watermelon he was enjoying outside! Such sweet hosts! The room was large with a private bath, and quite modern! The shower was hot and the blankets thick and heavy. I had a great night's sleep!

The elders seemed to be confused that I had a booking.com reservation haha but the child in the house spoke english very well and we were all sorted out.

The view was beautiful.

No heating. No kitchen. No sunlight in the room. Too cold and humid room.

Everything was perfect, nice location overlooking the town, clean and functional apartment with kitchen and bathroom. Comfy bed and warm environment even with very cold temperatures outside. The young boy is managing the rent and speaks good English.

Of course no one's fault but it was raining the whole time during my 4 day stay. When asked about the weather conditions before traveling to Kazbegi, the host said the weather was ok and hiking was possible, but in fact I barely managed to step out to get groceries. Maybe some more honesty would have been appreciated here.

Spacious and quiet room. Great location. The family is kind and attentive. I recommend it.
