New and well equipped studio apartment, beautiful shower, big bed, warm welcome.

Lack of privacy due to proximity to owners. Outside could help a curtain to visually separate guest space from family area. Sun umbrellas are mentioned in the description but were not provided (and you can't rent them on the beach).

Our stay was very comfortable and convenient. The apartment has everything for a longer stay, the hosts are very kind and accommodating. The beach with walking paths is nearby.

Booked for a week for a family wedding. Location was away from the main area of Vila do Conde which suited us. 10 min walk to Metro which takes you to Porto or Pavoa de Varzim. Nice stretch of beach at the bottom of the road.

Nothing to do with the Guest House facilities, they were good, but the area is quiet, so suits a more relaxed holiday. No beds or parasols available to hire at the Beach, and you’ll need a wind break 😀. Perhaps a few more choices locally to eat out, but don’t let that deter you from staying here.

Quite, cozy place with all facilities! For recharging your batteries this is the best place within 7 minutes walking to the ocean. The beach is amazing! Definitely not for party lovers. The great thanks to the hosts, they are amazing) Such a feeling that you came to your relatives . Very warm welcome) Direct metro to Porto is closeby. Cafés and small shops won’t leave you hungry . It’s a great place)

The family who own the accommodation are very welcoming and hospitable. The studio was more spacious than we expected, with a great bathroom at one end, a central kitchen and dining area and a bed/sitting area (really comfy bed, 2 seater sofa and chair) at the other end. Everything has been done to the highest standard (it was the family's home while they renovated their house). My wife tells me the kitchen has everything one could need (I would never know about such things). The apartment is adjacent to the rear of the owner's house but they are more than happy for guests to share the outside space. The location was ideal for us because we could park on the street (driving/parking in the centre of Porto is not for me). Stroll down the street for 10 minutes and be on the beach. Go the other way and arrive at the metro station which will take you into Porto in about 30 minutes (express service). We bought a single trip ticket, went Trindade station and changed lines to go to Sao Bento. Here is the tourist office which sells "Porto Passes" which iclude travel on metro and buses (but not the old trams) and discounts at tourist attractions and shops restaurants. We went a few stops out of town for lunch to get away from the tourists (nuisance these people - oh hang on I am one of them). Don't miss the tram museum - we went and it looks as if they could do with a few more visitors. When you get fed up with Porto, hop off the Metro at the Villa do Conde retail park or stay on a bit longer and go to Villa do Conde. Matosinhos has a vast beach, wide promenade, the largest park in Porto, great market (fish, fruit & veg, poultry, meat flowers etc.) and seafood restaurants. The metro there gets packed on good beach days, as does the 500 bus. Good cafes and restaurants near the property, too.

Bit of head scratching needed here. There might be a centimetre where the sealant isn't quite right in the shower tray (I am fearful of leaky showers). I was disappointed the man of the house was away during our stay because I would have liked to help him fix his motor scooter and admire his new Royal Enfield. I also don't like the fact that Porto is such a long drive from Alicante, the place we were returning to. None of this is really relevant to you as a potential booker, so the real answer is "Nothing".

Wonderful and clean apartment, very friendly hosts and a lovely cat - everything close to the beach. Perfect!

There were two of us and we stayed for a week. The family is extremely nice and helpful! The apartment is lovingly furnished. We felt like we were coming home. It is over fully equipped. We really felt very comfortable. The apartment is actually a separate small house on the property. This means that you are completely undisturbed and it is very quiet. For us it was absolutely perfect. We really couldn't criticize anything! Special thanks to Virgilia for airport service!-)))

A very large room with fully equipped kitchen and a large bathroom. Friendly staff (owner) for the check in, quiet place in a good location.
