Indigo Bungalows

We stayed 4 nights at Indigo Bungalow really enjoyed it! Great location! close to the main street, restaurants, beach, and the harbour. The room was clean, the bed comfy, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. There was a bit of drama with another guest on our first day (not the property's fault), but Junio handled it like a pro! huge thanks to him and the team, they where amazing. Honestly, we think the grumpy guest just needs to chill and enjoy island life a bit more… For him we recommend to try one of those magic mushroom shakes you’ll see around. 🧞‍♀️ Highly recommend this place!

Just a heads-up for light sleepers: the mosque is nearby, and you might hear the call to prayer, especially early in the morning. It didn’t bother us, but it’s good to know if you’re sensitive to noise. It’s part of the local culture and doesn't last long.

Chambre vieillissante, l'eau de la douche qui n'est pas souvent chaude. Literie assez inconfortable, on sent quelques ressort ce qui n'est pas très agréable. Pas de sèche cheveux.

Localization

I warn you against this place. There are 2 types of rooms (bungalows and 2 rooms in the main building) sold at the same price. We were convinced that we had a reservation for the first one, but after arrival it turned out that the bungalow was occupied and we were accommodated in a room of a much lower standard. Despite trying to contact the owner (who is in the UK), we did not receive a proposal to resolve the matter or compensation. On the other hand, the next day we were forced to return to the hotel immediately in emergency mode (phone call from the owner), despite informing the staff that due to activities outside the hotel we would be available after 1 a.m. The entire staff (led by the manager) gives the impression of sitting there as a punishment, they are very disengaged, not very polite and not helpful at all. The hotel is dirty (cobwebs on the walls), garbage around the pool and in the pool, and additionally, garbage is often burned in the area, which causes significant inconvenience. Besides the staff wanted to charge us twice the price for the bikes, which was accidental due to the fact that we settled directly (due to lack of cash) with the owner. Finally, when trying to get help with transport, the hotel employee assured us that the price would be 50 k and after arrival it turned out to be twice as high, which we were not prepared for (no cash). The place is totally not under control and we strongly advise against it.

Het ontbijt was eenvoudig, maar helemaal prima voor de start van de dag. Het werd iedere ochtend naar het huisje gebracht. De tuin met zwembad werden goed onderhouden. De huisjes zagen er schattig uit, maar we misten comfort. De jongens die het complexje onderhielden waren erg vriendelijk.

Weinig kastruimte, slechts 1 stoel in de kamer, geen haakjes in de badkamer, water liep slecht weg in de douche. Soms ook geen water. Er lagen steeds kleine poepjes op het beddenlaken door beestjes die in het dak zaten.

Good working air con, comfortable bed, good location as it’s easy walking distance to the harbour and all the best bars. You can rent good bikes at the accommodation for 50K a day which is very handy. Pool area is nice. Fridge in room which is helpful. Breakfast included. Tap near pool to wash your feet after walking or going in pool.

The bathroom wasn’t very clean, dirt in the corners of the bathroom and cobweb/spiders. No regular cleaning. The guy who worked at reception was nice but you didn’t know where he was a lot of the time, so when we had issues we couldn’t find him to resolve. There was a power cut on day 1 for hours, seemed other places had back up generators but this hotel didn’t so air con and electric wasn’t available for hours. We had issues with the water the whole time we were there, there was very limited hot water and also the pressure of the water on some days made it impossible to have a shower, only drops coming out of the shower and couldn’t speak to anyone to look at it. On the last day we had this issue with the water and finally found the guy working on reception who appeared to go and have a look at it but then the water was cut off completely and we weren’t able to have a shower before leaving and getting on a hot boat which was frustrating. It is a place with good potential but it just needs a good clean and work on the facilities

Very friendly staff. Nice location if you just rent a bike. I would really recomend this place.

Rendezett, szèp, tiszta szállàs, kènyelmes àggyal, jó víznyomàssal, meleg vízzel. Tiszta medence. Fantasztikus személyzet! Közel van mindenhez, mègis csendes utcában. Jó volt itt megszállni.

Az àgy fölè/körè jó volna egy szúnyoghàló. Mini hűtővel mèg tökèlegesebb lehetne a bungalló.
