La chambre donnait sur la rivière

The star here is the hotel’s location by the River. Be lulled to rest by the sound of gently rushing water. Beautiful scenery if you have a river view. The hotel is at the far end of the town along the Camino. But the best attractions of the town are on the far end! The town Center and Plaza Mayor is just round the corner. It is close to the Central gardens (Jardin de Alameda) next to the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria. The hotel is close to everything: the tourist office, Good food, good coffee, good wine, friendly locals and one of the best vibes for a small town on the Camino. It was a very cold two days in Spring when I stayed here. The room was cold but there was a very thick and warm blanket in the room that did the trick! The hotel has no laundry service but there is a modern laundromat a few blocks way that takes credit cards in addition to coins.
