"Fantastic Homestay. Hope to return!"

This is a family run homestay with several cottages, a really nice pool and a small restaurant. The host Nana and her family were very welcoming and accommodating. The cottage was basic, clean and comfortable. Food in the restaurant was made to order and of good quality. Bidara Cottages will organize snorkeling tours of the NE Gilis and our tour was absolutely fantastic ! The local area doesn’t have many tourists and Bidara Cottages is a great choice if you want to explore the area’s surrounds.

A refrigerator in the room (or even a community one) would be a welcome addition. We could hear our neighbors through the cabin walls (it’s unlikely to have someone in the cabin next door). Finally the Mosque is very close, you need to embrace that ❤️

La proximité du cottage de nos enfants

- petit déjeuner "tartines avec confiture" ... mais sans confiture - le réveil à 4 heures du matin avec un discours qui dure une heure amplifié par des hauts-parleurs. Bien sûr l'établissement n'y est pour rien

Nana was a wonderful host and always happy to help. Beautiful gardens, lovely big pool, and some cute kittens who made us smile! Our room was simple but clean, and we appreciated the mosquito nets over the beds. Quiet, peaceful area (besides loud morning prayer from nearby mosque). Tasty homemade local food - we especially loved the pineapple pancakes for breakfast! Snorkelling trip to Gili Kondo was a highlight of our trip (one min walk to beach then 15 min boat ride to get there).

Loud morning prayer from nearby mosque (rooms not soundproofed) and lots of mosquitos. Room was more basic than other places we have stayed, but great value and perfect location for a trip to the Gilis where we had the best snorkelling experience of our lives!

It was a very nice and relaing place to stay. With warm and freindly staff and a great pool to swim and relax in!

Could have cleaned the room each day would have been nice.

Everything! The lady who runs it, Nana is wonderful. She organised a boat for us for a day excursion and walked us to the beach to meet our skipper. She is always around with her adorable family to chat, help and assist. The gardens around the small cottages are beautifully maintained with hummingbirds and exotic plants and flowers. You feel very private there and the open air restaurant serves great food. There is also a lovely swimming pool. The four poster bed in my room was incredibly comfortable.
